The ball went over the crossbar instead. Serafino Horado charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafino Horado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Serafino Horado kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Mateo Sidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Frans in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Gustavo Telesforo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clason's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Telesforo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dario Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Jaume in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Martin Rencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Atauri. Clason's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Rencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Benedicto Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Sidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Frans, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Mateo Sidro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Frans went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Boedo Athletic.'s Leoncio Mala got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 47th minute Gavino Quinito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Telesforo to make the kick off. Eustacio Timo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mateo Sidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boedo Athletic.:s Mateo Sidro showed great skill when he stopped Eustacio Timo:s penalty. 74 minutes into the game, Leoncio Mala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dario Atauri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the match, Clason's goal looked a bit too open when Leoncio Mala came free, but Dario Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Atauri was a little too slow when Leoncio Mala got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 86th match minute, Boedo Athletic. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Horado to maneuver through the defense. Leoncio Mala hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Boedo Athletic.'s zone, Eustacio Timo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Sidro came out of the goal and Eustacio Timo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Clason defense, Norberto Jaume kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Atauri. The Clason fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Atauri should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute Leoncio Mala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Sidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Telesforo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Boedo Athletic. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
