Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrice Dunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Kleon Soulakas fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTERISTAS's protests and gave Kleon Soulakas a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes INTERISTAS got a freekick which was hit by Kleon Soulakas. 14 minutes into the match, INTERISTAS's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Massey came free, but Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Topsail booed when INTERISTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kleon Soulakas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Benjamin Massey notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of INTERISTAS's Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24thth minute of the game Fabrice Dunn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INTERISTAS's Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 minutes of play, INTERISTAS's Kleon Soulakas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blake Landry was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Topsail booed when INTERISTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petros Moustogiannis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Massey went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to INTERISTAS getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Aimilios Brizolakis hit a great ball. After 42 minutes, Stathis Giannopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTERISTAS and the Topsail players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute of the match Fabrice Dunn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabrice Dunn to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes INTERISTAS got a freekick which was hit by Ntinos Balouris. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Fabrice Dunn sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of INTERISTAS booed when Topsail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrice Dunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilson Friedman during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Wilson Friedman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, Topsail was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Mallory to maneuver through the defense. Blake Landry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aimilios Brizolakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of INTERISTAS booed when Topsail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Massey didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fabrice Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 88 minutes, Petros Moustogiannis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTERISTAS and the Topsail players grew even worse after the yellow card. Petros Moustogiannis hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Topsail's Fabrice Dunn got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
