With a little luck, PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Felip Huerta got control of the ball when Clemente Gabon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of PreservemospolladeaguaFC booed when ORIZABA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Gaizko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Larpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loreto Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Loreto Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PreservemospolladeaguaFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loreto Campos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ekain Esperta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to ORIZABA F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Leon Gaizko hit a great ball. Uriel Larpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xinto Rossello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felip Huerta was a little too slow when Dante Txema got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience was convinced that Clemente Gabon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felip Huerta was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Soin got free with Felip Huerta in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Xinto Rossello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uriel Larpe. ORIZABA F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xinto Rossello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Tacito Aballe got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Clemente Gabon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felip Huerta. That made the score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. When Rogelio Raulo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ORIZABA F.C.'s protests and gave Rogelio Raulo a yellow card for diving instead. PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Gaizkine Marquez was substituted for Loreto Campos. Rogelio Raulo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Uriel Larpe came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Ekain Esperta. But to his dismay, Ekain Esperta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Denis Soin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Felip Huerta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 47 minutes into the match, PreservemospolladeaguaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Gabon came free, but Felip Huerta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clemente Gabon made a kick off. Felip Huerta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Clemente Gabon put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Felip Huerta. 64 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Uriel Larpe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tulio Villalcazar. Uriel Larpe was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Gaizkine Marquez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaizkine Marquez really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. The audience was convinced that Gaizkine Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uriel Larpe was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Felip Huerta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Gabon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ekain Esperta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Larpe having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, ORIZABA F.C.'s Clemente Gabon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felip Huerta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. In the 85th minute Clemente Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felip Huerta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felip Huerta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Soin went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-3 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ORIZABA F.C. had won after a very even match.
