An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Orlondon in the 11th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Claudinho Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Hermengildo Frances shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Burutzagi scored 3-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinho Araújo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Placido Justin lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Carabata Groove's Placido Justin got a free kick in the 35th minute. A collision led to Carabata Groove getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jonathan Illart hit a great ball. Claudinho Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Dorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceferino Miro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Claudinho Araújo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Miro got free with Claudinho Araújo in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Orlondon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Carabata Groove's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hudson da Mata was the one to do the kick off. Claudinho Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Gonsalvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The Carabata Groove fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Carabata Groove's Ceferino Miro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 77 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Miro came free, but Claudinho Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Carabata Groove fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. 92 minutes into the game, Carabata Groove's Marcos Orlondon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Araújo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. Claudinho Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Orlondon in the 96th minute of play. Carabata Groove walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
