Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Júnior Veloso made the kick off which started today's match. When Santos Lekubegi came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Quebracho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Lekubegi couldn't finish the play. After 8 minutes of play, Quebracho FC's Santos Lekubegi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute Claudinho Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zacarias Mikelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Lekubegi in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Claudinho Souto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Medardo. The goal made the score 1-1. Quebracho FC's Flavio Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Souto in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cesar Sadurni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quebracho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Sadurni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Flavio Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Souto in the 31st minute of play. João Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivo Furtado might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Medardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivo Furtado ran back to his position shaking his head. After 45 played minutes Quebracho FC got a freekick which was hit by Cris Romero. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 54 minutes of play, Capivara FC's Júnior Veloso made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Mikelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. João Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Lekubegi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, João Fernandez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Santos Lekubegi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Fernandez having to make a save. Capivara FC's João Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Mikelar in the 70th minute of play. Quebracho FC's Zacarias Mikelar got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Zacarias Mikelar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Capivara FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Luciano Pereira hit a great ball. Santos Lekubegi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. João Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
