The crowd rose to their feet as Brant Teague kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicanor Romelio. That made the score 0-8 in the 52 minute of play. In the 56th minute, Weldon Morin made a precise shot to the right of Nicanor Romelio. Tecka Viejo Nomás's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. 58 minutes into the game, S.D. Bajen's Brant Teague nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicanor Romelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. In the 65th minute, S.D. Bajen's Wilbur Metz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicanor Romelio. Nicanor Romelio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. Nicanor Romelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Ventura in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Tecka Viejo Nomás's goalkeeper Nicanor Romelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilbur Metz. Nicanor Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilbur Metz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Romelio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicanor Romelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Woodrow Baggett in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Enekoitz came free, but Luis Swain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bajen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
