After 3 minutes of play, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Mei Xiang Ting made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 10 minutes, José Maria Cunha made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Talleres's Albino Nofre tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as José Maria Cunha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albino Nofre. That made the score 3-0 in the 16 minute of play. Mei Xiang Ting came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Albino Nofre could save by the left post. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Breno Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Gipuzkoa in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Mello during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Mei Xiang Ting reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Albino Nofre. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 36th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Rivas to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's José Maria Cunha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albino Nofre. That made the score 5-0 after 37 minutes of play. In the 42nd minute José Maria Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Nofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Léo Paiva's late challenge caught a Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léo Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA got a freekick which was hit by Léo Paiva.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mei Xiang Ting stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Talleres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mei Xiang Ting was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 81 minutes into the game, Ariel Burko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Breno Motta. Ariel Burko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-2. In the 84th minute, Ariel Burko made a precise shot to the right of Breno Motta. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-3. 89 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Mei Xiang Ting came free, but Albino Nofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ariel Burko fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres's protests and gave Ariel Burko a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Ariel Burko got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albino Nofre should have stopped the shot.
