In the 21st minute, Gracie Barra's Celso Soeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sandro Soeiro. Sandro Soeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Roberto Quintal struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Sandro Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gracie Barra. The audience was convinced that Tiaguinho Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Xavier was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Samuca Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Encardidos's goalkeeper Sandro Soeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Ceresso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Roberto Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Encardidos got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Matos. Sandro Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Gustavo Xavier was a little too slow when Marcos Ceresso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-4. The Gracie Barra fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Gracie Barra's Samuca Rosado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Encardidos's Flávio Matos got a free kick in the 76th minute. Celso Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Soeiro having to interfere. Gustavo Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Ceresso in the 80th minute of the match. Samuca Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Samuca Rosado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandro Soeiro was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Gustavo Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Matos in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Ceresso in the 90th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Gustavo Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Although Gracie Barra had been in control for most of the match, Encardidos still came away with the win.
