Karl Laureys was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Borys Maruda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zryw Samsonów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 74 minutes, Christiaan Van Laer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ouagadougou National and the Zryw Samsonów players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zryw Samsonów's Kazimierz Grocholski was substituted for Krzysztof Liberko. A collision led to FC Ouagadougou National getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Karl Laureys when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Zryw Samsonów left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Ouagadougou National.
