The Estación Q. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Cresitobalo should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Gaizkine got free with Edvaldo Fonseca in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Israel Lucian might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvaldo Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Israel Lucian ran back to his position shaking his head. Edvaldo Fonseca came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Estación Q.'s Niceto Gaizkine. But to his dismay, Niceto Gaizkine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 15th minute, Evaristo Tebaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Guarani Futebol Clube booed when Estación Q. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Dolfos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guarani Futebol Clube's Edvaldo Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Guarani Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. If Israel Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Israel Lucian took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Fonseca. Edvaldo Fonseca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 35th minute, Israel Lucian made a precise shot to the right of Edvaldo Fonseca. Guarani Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 40th match minute, Estación Q. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Giovanni de Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Cresitobalo. Estación Q.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Lucian in the 44th minute of play forced Guarani Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Edvaldo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Dolfos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Israel Lucian was the one to do the kick off. Edvaldo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Lucian, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 53rd minute Jairo Telmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Israel Lucian put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Edvaldo Fonseca. After a defensive mix-up in Guarani Futebol Clube's zone, Israel Lucian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Fonseca came out of the goal and Israel Lucian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Jairo Telmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Richard Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dudu de Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guarani Futebol Clube's protests and gave Dudu de Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Guarani Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Israel Lucian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvaldo Fonseca having to make a save. Cacá Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Arnaldo Cresitobalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Guarani Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Lucian came free, but Edvaldo Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elano Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Geovanni Fernandes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Jairo Telmo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Edvaldo Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estación Q.. When Estación Q.'s Israel Lucian in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guarani Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal.
