In the 23rd minute, Chico Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Jesus Colas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Marques skillfully saved the ball. After 25 minutes, Régis Bueno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CRISDIELDAN and the C.A. Calamuchita players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C.A. Calamuchita booed when CRISDIELDAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Carlos Tande in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Dimas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Eliseo Iaki fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Calamuchita's protests and gave Eliseo Iaki a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes C.A. Calamuchita got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Iaki. Bernardo Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Ekaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes CRISDIELDAN got a freekick which was hit by Chico Alves. Bernardo Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Figueroa in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antônio Carlos Tande made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Fabian Ekaitz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardo Marques, 0-1. Bernardo Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 71 minutes into the match, CRISDIELDAN's goalkeeper Bernardo Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Loco. Jorge Dimas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 84th minute, C.A. Calamuchita's Fabian Ekaitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 87th minute, Jesus Colas made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Marques. CRISDIELDAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Daniel Maju could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Bernardo Marques made a huge save. Cesar Velasco hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 94 minutes of play, C.A. Calamuchita's Daniel Maju made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! The CRISDIELDAN fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A. Calamuchita were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
