Elpidio Pan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandu Musteatã in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Pan saved OZDEMIR FC from getting behind. When Gheorghe Streche fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Puturoasa's protests and gave Gheorghe Streche a yellow card for diving instead. Bela Partearroyo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Alberto Salgado. UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, OZDEMIR FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Pan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Vanghele. In the 85th minute Sandu Musteatã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Pan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in OZDEMIR FC's zone, Ion Gribincea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Pan came out of the goal and Ion Gribincea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the game, UFC Puturoasa's Giuseppe Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Pan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. UFC Puturoasa played a much better game than OZDEMIR FC and deserved their victory. The OZDEMIR FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
