With an all-out effort, Locura Académica's Ragnar Wallander threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nyangnyang Rungkat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 6 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Vester. After having played for 8 minutes, Bror Skoog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bror Skoog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Locura Académica's Rafael Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Frisk in the 9th minute of play. Guillermo Joey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ragnar Wallander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Bror Skoog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Gilesindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Skoog in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Sotero came free, but Ragnar Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Skoog in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Bror Skoog made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Gilesindo. Locura Académica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Locura Académica getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Bror Skoog managed to get in a good position for a shot. AIF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bror Skoog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Gilesindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Konrad Lindblom during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AIF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Konrad Lindblom hit a great ball. Nyangnyang Rungkat came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ragnar Wallander could save by the left post. In the 45th minute Nyangnyang Rungkat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half AIF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kenneth Frisk to strike the kick off in the second half. Ragnar Wallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nyangnyang Rungkat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ragnar Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nyangnyang Rungkat, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ragnar Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nyangnyang Rungkat, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
