In the 16th minute, Gigel Grozăvescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 19 minutes, Vicente Colas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the Raureni Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vicente Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match, Damaso Orlin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Grigore Ozon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 29 minutes, Damian Raphael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the Raureni Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Raphael to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Marin in the 31st minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Amado Galeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panait Voina during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Panait Voina kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Damian Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raureni Academy's Grigore Ozon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Orlin in the 40th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Raphael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Raureni Academy's Francisc Ţăranu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amado Galeno. That made the score 1-1 after 52 minutes of play. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustin Zamfir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Damian Raphael left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 61 minutes into the game, Racing Club's Damaso Orlin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grigore Ozon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Raureni Academy's Sever Miclea got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grigore Ozon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Orlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigore Ozon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Raphael in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Damaso Orlin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grigore Ozon. Raureni Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Orlin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Racing Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Raureni Academy for a fine match.
