Sverker Lindgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Qwinten Franckx's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Alphonse Van Hallebeecke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Twierdza Osowiec were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gudhem's Folke Fribäck got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Gudhem from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's Qwinten Franckx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sverker Lindgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
