Jerold Quintas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Toninho Goiano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Mohamed Jaen scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serginho Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maicon Quintal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jerold Quintas came out and tried to block the shot, but Maicon Quintal slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 19th minute. Serginho Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Serginho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Jaen in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Mohamed Jaen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serginho Taffarel. MINEIROS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Jaen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 46th minute, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Baudilio Otero seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Baudilio Otero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of !Pabellon Ourense C.F. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baudilio Otero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 47 played minutes !Pabellon Ourense C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Baudilio Otero. 48 minutes in the game João Paraíba got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

After a rather tough play, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Platon Arratia got a free kick in the 64th minute. 71 minutes into the game, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Mohamed Jaen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
