FA Sandtown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo the free kick. After a rather tough play, FA Sandtown's Kaare Bednarek got a free kick in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the Flamengo defense, Janusz Koczara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfred Clemence. The Flamengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfred Clemence should have stopped the shot. Eddie Alderdice kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Freddie Boston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Flamengo defense, Janusz Koczara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfred Clemence. The Flamengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfred Clemence should have stopped the shot. In the 21st match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Forrest Frizzell to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Marcin Czempa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FA Sandtown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Eddie Alderdice fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo's protests and gave Eddie Alderdice a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Alderdice to maneuver through the defense. Freddie Boston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Clemence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Koczara, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Wilkins came free, but Cyryl Smuskiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Clemence came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by FA Sandtown's Marcin Czempa. But to his dismay, Marcin Czempa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 48th minute, Pankracy Jaks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute, Freddie Boston sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FA Sandtown's Cyryl Smuskiewicz didn't even have to move. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janusz Koczara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Janusz Koczara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Clemence. Flamengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Janusz Koczara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When FA Sandtown's Janusz Koczara in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flamengo's goalie prevented a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Flamengo's Zane Dyson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cyryl Smuskiewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 59 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Kaare Bednarek. In the 62nd match minute, FA Sandtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcin Czempa to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the game, Marcin Czempa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FA Sandtown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo the free kick. Marcin Czempa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zane Dyson got free with Cyryl Smuskiewicz in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 68 minutes on the clock, Rory Trimble commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Alfred Clemence stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janusz Koczara's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Janusz Koczara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FA Sandtown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, FA Sandtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Koczara to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Marcin Czempa made a precise shot to the right of Alfred Clemence. Flamengo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janusz Koczara in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Clemence prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 79 minutes of play, FA Sandtown's Janusz Koczara made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfred Clemence was left in no man's land by his defense there! FA Sandtown's Marcin Czempa got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Marcin Czempa off the ground. After 90 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Czempa. Janusz Koczara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
