Gabi Boldici didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvin Kullander went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gabi Boldici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Finman in the 9th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Åke Finman. 13 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Gabi Boldici had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sonny Samuelsson. Kenneth Biörkquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Blidaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Bloodthirsty FC booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horea Arbore didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Burdujan got free with Kenneth Biörkquist in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabi Boldici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Finman in the 61st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edvin Kullander during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Edvin Kullander hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Jan-Åke Finman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Manuel Aluncai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Karl-Erik Sundén hit a great ball. Bloodthirsty FC made a substitution. Ivan Julin replaced Edvin Kullander. After a rather tough play, Bloodthirsty FC's Karl-Erik Sundén got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Biörkquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Burdujan. Manuel Burdujan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bloodthirsty FC's zone, Stelian Blidaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Biörkquist came out of the goal and Stelian Blidaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes, Dick Forss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bloodthirsty FC and the Stiinta-Univ. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bloodthirsty FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Bloodthirsty FC:s Kenneth Biörkquist showed great skill when he stopped Traian Pivniceru:s penalty. In the 95th minute, Traian Pivniceru made a precise shot to the right of Kenneth Biörkquist. Bloodthirsty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stiinta-Univ. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bloodthirsty FC.
