Breguete FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafin Herauso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of VINEIRO FC booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Mergildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Cordarrell came free, but Jefferson Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match Feliciano Itzaina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match, Clemente Mergildo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jefferson Souza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. VINEIRO FC's Serafin Herauso got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Luís Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Jefferson Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Mergildo in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, VINEIRO FC's Constantino Lucado got a free kick in the 59th minute. Toto Caputo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Herauso came free, but Jefferson Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70th play minutes Clemente Mergildo shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Jefferson Souza and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Cordarrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jefferson Souza was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Clemente Mergildo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Osvaldo Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Breguete FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Breguete FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because VINEIRO FC had won, even though Breguete FC had held more of the ball.
