An unexpectedly hard shot by Mino Arraya in the 11th minute of play forced Dogo Argentino's goalkeeper Severino Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez got control of the ball when Patricio Diagur tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by RAMBO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramiro Cisco was slow to take the kick. During this time Dogo Argentino's players had a chance to rest. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Pello, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Gilberto Theodore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RAMBO FC's Mino Arraya got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro Cisco kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasto Cobo. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Pello was the one to do the kick off. When Cristo Cheche fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dogo Argentino's protests and gave Cristo Cheche a yellow card for diving instead. Severino Seber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mino Arraya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to RAMBO FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ildephonso Masses hit a great ball. RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Pello in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute Mino Arraya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Seber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Pello in the 68th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 70th minute when Hector Pello elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Pello in the 90th minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mino Arraya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Severino Seber made a huge save. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Pello, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dogo Argentino fans cheered their team off the field, for while RAMBO FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
