With 3 minutes on the clock, Robert Portanier commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Meerkats FC! Fredric Hansson had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Serafim Klikić's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Warriors of Gora™'s Junior Shevchenko got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th match minute, Meerkats FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Debono to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Warriors of Gora™'s Fredric Hansson threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Junior Shevchenko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 20th minute Vincent Callus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vučko Jovović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Meerkats FC's Fredric Hansson got control of the ball when Damian Joseph tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fredric Hansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haşim Berin in the 25th minute of the match. If Jean Carl Rizzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Warriors of Gora™ booed when Meerkats FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Degabriele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Warriors of Gora™'s Mihajlo Radosavljev got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haşim Berin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Fredric Hansson made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goalkeeper Fredric Hansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Big Ben. Fredric Hansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Junior Shevchenko in the 43rd minute. Vučko Jovović came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Meerkats FC's Vincent Callus. But to his dismay, Vincent Callus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vincent Callus to make the kick off. Bernard Degabriele hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Vučko Jovović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent Callus in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Marko Kirkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredric Hansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Warriors of Gora™'s Big Ben nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredric Hansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Fredric Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haşim Berin, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Vučko Jovović made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Vincent Callus sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Vincent Callus sped through Warriors of Gora™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vučko Jovović. With an all-out effort, Meerkats FC's Vučko Jovović threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Debono, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Julian Debono got a free kick in the 77th minute. Junior Shevchenko scored 3-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredric Hansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th match minute, Warriors of Gora™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Junior Shevchenko to maneuver through the defense.
