A sloppy throw-in by Celsinho Castro in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by NFC Eagles 22's Bruno Meijs. 14 minutes into the game, NFC Eagles 22's Cees Klein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Doykin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Adam Doykin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save CE LAJEADENSE RS from getting a goal against them. NFC Eagles 22's Mitchel Dijkstra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Donato in the 23rd minute of play. Cees Klein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adam Doykin made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Cees Klein sent off a good shot on target. Mitchel Dijkstra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Meijs to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in CE LAJEADENSE RS's zone, Cees Klein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Doykin came out of the goal and Cees Klein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jhon Arias hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Mitchel Dijkstra came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by CE LAJEADENSE RS's Anísio Koehler. But to his dismay, Anísio Koehler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 45 minutes into the game, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Anísio Koehler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mitchel Dijkstra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Cees Klein made the kick off in the second half. Mitchel Dijkstra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Koehler in the 54th minute of the match. Mitchel Dijkstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Doykin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cees Klein in the 61st minute of play. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 65 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Meijs. Mitchel Dijkstra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Koehler in the 68th minute of play. Ron Moermans's late challenge caught a CE LAJEADENSE RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ron Moermans helped the player get up and apologised. Mitchel Dijkstra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anísio Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. NFC Eagles 22's Mitchel Dijkstra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, NFC Eagles 22's Mitchel Dijkstra got control of the ball when Aloísio Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cees Klein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Aloísio Donato notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of NFC Eagles 22's Mitchel Dijkstra. Mitchel Dijkstra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio Donato got free with Mitchel Dijkstra in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CE LAJEADENSE RS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
