Iurie Mardare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Remus Pinczewski made a huge save. Joël Rétière's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remus Pinczewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Anthony Jougla got a throw-in 11 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gaston Toupin. If Iurie Mardare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joël Rétière in the 25th minute of play forced MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Remus Pinczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avram Mititelu during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iurie Mardare got free with Remus Pinczewski in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Fc Kertzfeld booed when MIT Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Brașoveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iustin Chificeac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmut Lossimäe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Remus Pinczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Mardare in the 34th minute of the match. When Gauthier Ducamp fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Kertzfeld's protests and gave Gauthier Ducamp a yellow card for diving instead. If Iurie Mardare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iustin Chificeac to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Iurie Mardare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Pinczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Mounir Clenet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Gorgan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Helmut Lossimäe. Fc Kertzfeld's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iustin Chificeac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Cristinel Bocaneț recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Helmut Lossimäe. Cristinel Bocaneț showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Helmut Lossimäe made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Cristinel Bocaneț sent off a good shot on target. Iustin Chificeac took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helmut Lossimäe. Helmut Lossimäe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The throw-in from Marin Brașoveanu in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fc Kertzfeld's Anthony Jougla. The supporters of Fc Kertzfeld booed when MIT Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Bocaneț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joël Rétière sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristinel Bocaneț hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Mardare in the 81st minute of play forced MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Remus Pinczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th match minute, MIT Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Bocaneț to maneuver through the defense. Remus Pinczewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Titouan Levet, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Florent Sorlin sped through MIT Craiova's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Remus Pinczewski. After 96 minutes, Andrei Opincaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MIT Craiova and the Fc Kertzfeld players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Andrei Opincaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Fc Kertzfeld supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MIT Craiova's performance. The match ended with a win for MIT Craiova.
