In the 2nd minute, Marius Pașcanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arvid Vallman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerry Vallman during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jerry Vallman kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Marius Pașcanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Gol was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Arvid Vallman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Segundo Gol when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st minute Arvid Vallman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blåränderna were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after New England Minas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tommy Heggert took the corner. A nice corner shot did that John Skager got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Segundo Gol quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvid Vallman got free with Segundo Gol in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Blåränderna's Marius Pașcanu got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Pașcanu in the 28th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Segundo Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerry Vallman got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Blåränderna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Vallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Blåränderna's Niklas Kilstedt got a free kick in the 34th minute. Cory Kirkland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Blåränderna getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tomas Bocklund hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Blåränderna's goalkeeper Christian Sjödin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. New England Minas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dirk Hatfield in the 43rd minute. Dirk Hatfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The throw-in from Clinton Caballero in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Blåränderna's Robert Stål. If Marius Pașcanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Blåränderna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Pașcanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bora La Marca struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Christian Sjödin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New England Minas. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Clinton Caballero got a free kick in the 58th minute. Marius Pașcanu struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Segundo Gol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blåränderna. The Blåränderna fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Blåränderna's Marius Pașcanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. New England Minas's Segundo Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Pașcanu in the 90th minute of play. Blåränderna's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
