The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to LEBEG Team getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Đerat Izzard hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Chaouki Ben Rau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LEBEG Team's Attilio Ottaviani got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, LEBEG Team's La Para got control of the ball when Chaouki Ben Rau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, La Para successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Ferraris during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristiano Ferraris hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Teofil Kociniewski, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Chaouki Ben Rau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but La Para read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. La Para showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chaouki Ben Rau, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 41st match minute, F.C. Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Vennerberg to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Anselmo Fantozzi put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, F.C. Sosnowiec's Teofil Kociniewski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of La Para. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 52 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Igor Erland. Đerat Izzard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C. Sosnowiec's Igor Erland managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Attilio Ottaviani in the 55 minute of the game. Attilio Ottaviani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of LEBEG Team booed when F.C. Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Šako Grande didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Para made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chaouki Ben Rau in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Sosnowiec's zone, Fedele Lucantoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Zworski came out of the goal and Fedele Lucantoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LEBEG Team's attentive Arrigo Santarelli managed to snatch the ball when Aleksander Sobania made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, F.C. Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Dominik Zworski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Attilio Ottaviani. In the 73rd minute, Alessio De Sanctis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LEBEG Team's Fedele Lucantoni got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Attilio Ottaviani hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Đerat Izzard hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, one of LEBEG Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LEBEG Team. La Para had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Teofil Kociniewski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when F.C. Sosnowiec's Teofil Kociniewski after 94 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for LEBEG Team's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-1. Many of LEBEG Team's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. LEBEG Team may have spent more time on the ball, but F.C. Sosnowiec were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
