In the 33rd minute of the match Kaviedes Cordova sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Alberto Villa skillfully saved the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Aurelio Paredes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Red Reign's Oso Udoy. Oso Udoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Alberto Villa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xacobo Dorronsoro in the 39th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Talcampeón FC got a freekick which was hit by Rómulo Ventura. After recieving a nice pass, Red Reign's Kaviedes Cordova tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Enrico Algarte hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Red Reign's Zeru Albarellos was substituted for Lopez Portanares. In the 48th minute, Enrico Algarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xacobo Dorronsoro made a kick off. Talcampeón FC's Carlos Alberto Villa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xacobo Dorronsoro in the 53rd minute of play. Kaviedes Cordova ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Barros Somiedo to score against Carlos Alberto Villa in Talcampeón FC's goal. 1-1 after 55 minutes. In the 57th match minute, Red Reign was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeru Albarellos to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Alberto Villa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xacobo Dorronsoro in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Talcampeón FC's zone, Xacobo Dorronsoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Alberto Villa came out of the goal and Xacobo Dorronsoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Xacobo Dorronsoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Alberto Villa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeru Albarellos in the 72nd minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Villa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Zeru Albarellos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Reign's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeru Albarellos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th match minute, Talcampeón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rómulo Ventura to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Alberto Villa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xacobo Dorronsoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th match minute, Talcampeón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Maria Letelier to maneuver through the defense. When Carlos Jimilio came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Red Reign fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Jimilio couldn't finish the play. Red Reign's Oso Udoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Red Reign from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Xacobo Dorronsoro made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Alberto Villa. Talcampeón FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Xacobo Dorronsoro struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Carlos Alberto Villa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Reign. Red Reign's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
