AF CERRADO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Admon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Amador Bautista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Damião's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião got a free kick in the 20th minute. 29 minutes into the match, ELMUÑE's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Damião came free, but Amador Bautista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Eleuterio Urko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Zé Roberto Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Urko in the 37th minute of play. Fabio Figueroa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Damião in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Bautista saved ELMUÑE from getting behind. Arlindo Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Admon in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Admon got free with Arlindo Guedes in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bonifacio Admon in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arlindo Guedes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Amador Bautista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Damião in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Admon to make the kick off.
