Garphyttan's Gustav Stephansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kield Kogsbøll in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's Albin Bergström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petter Eirod narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Garphyttan's Lv Xiang Lang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Petter Eirod. Petter Eirod yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Petter Eirod made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Bergström in the 42nd minute of play. Gustav Stephansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kield Kogsbøll in the 45th minute of play. Gustav Stephansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Søtherp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The Garphyttan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Garphyttan. Mattias Svahn stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Petter Eirod. 5-1. The supporters of Garphyttan booed when Sletteenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loke Ungermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Mattias Svahn got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Petter Eirod quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gustav Stephansson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bert Tode showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-2 in the 88 minute of play. Jimmy Hagström's late challenge caught a Sletteenge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmy Hagström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sletteenge booed when Garphyttan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position.
