The CERRO PORTEÑO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Sobrido should have stopped the shot. Astor Sobrido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Misael in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Romulo Gauargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Sobrido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Illart got free with Astor Sobrido in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamin Grabiel hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Astor Sobrido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ildefonso Laffitte in the 25th minute. Isaac Misael kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s goal looked a bit too open when Orlo Rujula came free, but Aurelio Nafarroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Rodolfo Illart in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CERRO PORTEÑO's goalie prevented a goal. Romulo Gauargi took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Astor Sobrido. Astor Sobrido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. CERRO PORTEÑO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Rodolfo Illart scored to the left of an out of position Astor Sobrido, making the score, 3-0. 43 minutes into the game, Romulo Gauargi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Astor Sobrido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Sasoin Abaurre fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CERRO PORTEÑO's protests and gave Sasoin Abaurre a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ booed when CERRO PORTEÑO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sasoin Abaurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlo Rujula to make the kick off. A collision led to CERRO PORTEÑO getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Luisito Gadañon hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Romulo Gauargi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 55 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Illart came free, but Astor Sobrido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Sobrido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Gauargi in the 56th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Joel Bustelo. In the 57th minute Romulo Gauargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Sobrido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Sobrido came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Rodolfo Illart. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Illart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ were furious when Benjamin Grabiel was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CERRO PORTEÑO:s goal. In the 69th minute, Isaac Misael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Aurelio Nafarroa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ from getting a goal against them. Astor Sobrido came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Rodolfo Illart. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Illart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Astor Sobrido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Illart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Romulo Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Berenguer Costilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute Rodolfo Illart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Sobrido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s zone, Baumar Ontanilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Nafarroa came out of the goal and Baumar Ontanilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
