A A Arizona:s Evandro Paulista showed great skill when he stopped Lucas Jimenez:s penalty. 2-1 came in the 45th minute when Lucas Jimenez all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Evandro Paulista. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After 51 played minutes A A Arizona got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Esteves. In the 54th minute of the match Serafin Beltxe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evandro Paulista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Antonio Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A A Arizona's Alfredo Lopes was substituted for Inácio Perez. In the 66th minute, Eriberto Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
