Jim Lyons spun around in front of the goal 87 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of La Z del ZORRO's goal. Modesto Aresti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC LIVERPOOL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
