In the 14th match minute, KFC Cromvelde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertus Van Nel to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, FC Brzesko City's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Dem came free, but Maksymilian Maziarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ali Dem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maksymilian Maziarz was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philippe-Arnaud Steenberghs during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KFC Cromvelde getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Philippe-Arnaud Steenberghs hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Dem made a kick off. If Ali Dem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kim Hendrickx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kuzey Kırgız's shot from short distance in the 54th minute.
