The ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chupan Estad should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ni Xiong Bin got free with Dalmo Saldanha in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ni Xiong Bin might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmo Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ni Xiong Bin ran back to his position shaking his head. Chupan Estad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Guerra in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerome Rohrer in the 23rd minute of play forced ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪'s goalkeeper Chupan Estad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪ booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chupan Estad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerome Rohrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Paes was the one to do the kick off. When Victor Hugo Pinilla fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪'s protests and gave Victor Hugo Pinilla a yellow card for diving instead. Jovens Democratas MZC's Chico de Sousa was substituted for Jerome Rohrer. Jovens Democratas MZC's Efraim Bombardier was substituted for Laerte Bittencourt. When Leonardo Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Jovens Democratas MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Guerra couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Roberto Spöerer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪ got a freekick which was hit by Albano Depsch. ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪'s Chupan Estad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Gerber in the 87th minute of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Roberto Spöerer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪'s Ruiz Ballet got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Chupan Estad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Gerber in the 95th minute of the match. Jovens Democratas MZC played a much better game than ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪ and deserved their victory. The ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
