The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 吕政扬 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christopher Goss's late challenge caught a 重庆侠岚队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christopher Goss helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of 重庆侠岚队 booed when Creekers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Tuan Tackett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Dudley Hadley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 彭正洲 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 刘辉振 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 顾希荣 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Weston Rivera having to interfere. 刘辉振 might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Weston Rivera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 刘辉振 ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when 顾希荣 came free, but Weston Rivera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
