Arnaldo Tome started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Cláudio Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 4th minute, Jeremias Oton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley Rosa scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Urko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adhemar Loyola came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Pretorianos FC's Arnaldo Tome. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Tome quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Cláudio Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Fred Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Pretorianos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Felipo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Almir Almeida during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pretorianos FC booed when S O B E R A N O CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cláudio Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Pretorianos FC booed when S O B E R A N O CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arnaldo Tome came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pretorianos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Tome couldn't finish the play. Wesley Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Urko having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cláudio Recife to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Adhemar Loyola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pretorianos FC's attentive Victor Leizarraga managed to snatch the ball when Didi Gonçalves made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. After 60 minutes, Natalio Fidele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pretorianos FC and the S O B E R A N O CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Natalio Fidele kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Cláudio Recife came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Recife couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Tome blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adhemar Loyola having to make a save. Arnaldo Tome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Loyola having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pretorianos FC defense, Guto Oliveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paolo Urko. The Pretorianos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Urko should have stopped the shot. Arnaldo Tome scored 2-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adhemar Loyola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adhemar Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Argi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in S O B E R A N O CIMZ's zone, Arnaldo Tome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adhemar Loyola came out of the goal and Arnaldo Tome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guto Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Paolo Urko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S O B E R A N O CIMZ. After a rather tough play, Pretorianos FC's Adolfo Toribio got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
