The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurel Crainic got free with Daniel Gaspard in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurel Crainic had several of the Arribeños AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Daniel Gaspard as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ernesto Esiquio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Daniel Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Olaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Arribeños AFC's Tobias Bartoleme got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Daniel Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Olaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Galati Harbour Cats booed when Arribeños AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
