The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Maiorga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmiro Poz was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. The supporters of Bancruz F.C booed when Los Delfines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Veronica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Maurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Poz having to interfere. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nemesio Maiorga sped through Los Delfines's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Delmiro Poz. Delmiro Poz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemesio Maiorga's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 19 minutes, Tomás Domeka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Delfines and the Bancruz F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Los Delfines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Domeka to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Damaso Maurino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bancruz F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Maurino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Maiorga in the 26th minute of play forced Los Delfines's goalkeeper Delmiro Poz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Los Delfines got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Michael. In the 33rd minute, Nemesio Maiorga made a precise shot to the right of Delmiro Poz. Los Delfines's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Delmiro Poz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemesio Maiorga's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. If Manuel Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelo Haritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Faron having to interfere.

After a rather tough play, Los Delfines's Ezequiel Miro got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Evaristo Johans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bancruz F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Delfines the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bancruz F.C's Evaristo Johans got a free kick in the 57th minute. Damaso Maurino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Delmiro Poz made a huge save. Los Delfines's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Nemesio Maiorga scored to the left of an out of position Delmiro Poz, making the score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Bancruz F.C's Bernardo Ihintza got a free kick in the 69th minute. Pedro Faron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Haritz in the 73rd minute of play. Rosendo Michael hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Delmiro Poz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Severino Iraunkor. A hard shot 78 in the game by Nemesio Maiorga from a close distance when the talented Delmiro Poz managed to make a qualified save. Los Delfines's players were relieved. Delmiro Poz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Manuel Gaueko got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nemesio Maiorga in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Delmiro Poz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 89 played minutes Los Delfines got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Miro. With a little luck, Los Delfines's Delmiro Poz got control of the ball when Damaso Maurino tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Bancruz F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Delfines throughout the match.
