With a left leg Xepe Gandia saved Downchester City from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Bruno Lacorte got a free kick in the 25th minute. The supporters of Downchester City booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Pudes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Mellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paco Trujillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Eustaquio Pudes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Pudes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xepe Gandia. Downchester City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Pudes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Downchester City's Aloisio Santander got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Downchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Lacorte came free, but Xepe Gandia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Sergio Rodríguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Downchester City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundens BK the free kick.
