In the 3rd play minute Edelmiro Villalcazar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Philibert Gournay. 1-0. Sofiane Candau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Noël Casimir. Elvar Tender, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lon Regueiro in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philibert Gournay saved R.C. Marseille from getting behind. Lon Regueiro in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Philibert Gournay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, R.C. Marseille's Paulo Teinturier got a free kick in the 30th minute. Jean-Paul Fromont took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Durango. Gaston Durango dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as OZDEMIR FC's Mazuste Villafuentes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Philibert Gournay. That made the score 2-1 after 39 minutes of play. After 41 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by William Chausson. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Teinturier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Philibert Gournay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lon Regueiro's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Gaston Durango showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Paul Fromont in the 52nd minute of the match. Elvar Tender's late challenge caught a R.C. Marseille's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvar Tender helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in OZDEMIR FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! After 64 minutes of play, R.C. Marseille's Paulo Teinturier made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaston Durango was left in no man's land by his defense there! Philibert Gournay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lon Regueiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes of play, OZDEMIR FC's Lon Regueiro made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philibert Gournay was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd match minute, OZDEMIR FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manni Villa to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Durango took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Teinturier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 81 minutes, Manni Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OZDEMIR FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manni Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of OZDEMIR FC booed when R.C. Marseille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Chausson didn't get a good kick on the ball. OZDEMIR FC's Gaston Durango played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofiane Candau in the 87th minute of play. Sidney Cayron charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidney Cayron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, R.C. Marseille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Cayron to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of OZDEMIR FC booed when R.C. Marseille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofiane Candau didn't get a good kick on the ball. The OZDEMIR FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching R.C. Marseille's performance. The match ended with a win for R.C. Marseille.
