In the 4th minute of the match Cementerio Club got a corner. Kaplan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustavo Leocadio ran over to the corner to take the kick. 9 minutes into the game, Cementerio Club's Santo Gonzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Gaufred made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Kaplan's Alejo Lastur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isidro Rumaldo. Isidro Rumaldo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Teodoro Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kaplan's Edelmiro Sagrario got a free kick in the 18th minute. Teodoro Gaufred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Cementerio Club's Santo Gonzo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teodoro Gaufred in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kaplan's Teodoro Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Gonzo in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Cementerio Club's Santo Gonzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Gaufred made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kaplan's goalkeeper Teodoro Gaufred, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 35 minutes of play Kaplan's Edelmiro Sagrario was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Cementerio Club booed when Kaplan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Sagrario didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Santo Gonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Venancio Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Gonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro Gaufred having to make a save. Isidro Rumaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Lastur, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Gonzo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cementerio Club's Santo Gonzo got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Alejo Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaplan's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Lastur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Rumaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Teodoro Gaufred successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 67th match minute, Cementerio Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Gonzo to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Gaufred stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Gonzo's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Alejo Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Ermano made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lucio Soin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Gonzo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Gaufred saved Kaplan from getting behind. 84 minutes into the game, Santo Gonzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cementerio Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kaplan the free kick. Santo Gonzo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Vicente Txindoki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cementerio Club's Isidro Rumaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Lastur in the 94th minute of play. Although Kaplan had been in control for most of the match, Cementerio Club still came away with the win.
