Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fitz Gerrard started the match with the kick off. Ampthill FC's Crispin Sherwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Fraco in the 6th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Clemente Calisto in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ampthill FC's Vernon Radcliffe. In the 11th minute Astor Fraco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crispin Sherwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Admon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Crispin Sherwood was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Fraco came free, but Crispin Sherwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crispin Sherwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Fraco, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ubaldo Admon took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Crispin Sherwood. Crispin Sherwood dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Esteban Inko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 48th minute Astor Fraco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crispin Sherwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Fraco to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, PauoL & The Queen's Astor Fraco made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Crispin Sherwood was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Ampthill FC's Crispin Sherwood got control of the ball when Esteban Inko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute Esteban Inko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crispin Sherwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Bond during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Romeo Bond kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Admon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Crispin Sherwood was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Crispin Sherwood had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Inko. Crispin Sherwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Fraco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Fitz Gerrard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. German Benat was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After 78 played minutes Ampthill FC got a freekick which was hit by Jon McCartney. Crispin Sherwood made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Fraco in the 85th minute. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ralf Moorhouse hit a great ball. PauoL & The Queen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Esteban Inko in the 94th minute. After taking down the ball on PauoL & The Queen's corner Esteban Inko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Crispin Sherwood quite easily take care of the ball. In the 95th minute, Ralf Moorhouse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute, Ubaldo Admon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PauoL & The Queen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. PauoL & The Queen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
