After 5 played minutes FC Luck got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Neicu. A.A. Cachila's Prudencio Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Mutu in the 6th minute of play. Nicu Mincu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catriel Sanchez in the 11th minute of the match. Nereo Eleder's late challenge caught a FC Luck's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Eleder helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, A.A. Cachila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Eleder to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Silviu Bădila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prudencio Estevon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicu Mincu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catriel Sanchez in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Mutu came free, but Prudencio Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prudencio Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Mutu in the 25th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavril Neicu to maneuver through the defense. Silviu Hrandabur made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gheorghe Comăneci immediately put the ball in play. Catriel Sanchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Nicu Mincu made a huge save. In the 41st minute Eduard Mutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Luck getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Silviu Hrandabur hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduard Mutu to make the kick off. Gelu Bulă hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Gelu Bulă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Estevon having to interfere. A collision led to FC Luck getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gelu Bulă hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gelu Bulă during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduard Mutu took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prudencio Estevon. Prudencio Estevon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 74 minutes, Kuberabandhu Komarchev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.A. Cachila and the FC Luck players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, one of A.A. Cachila:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for A.A. Cachila. A collision led to FC Luck getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Silviu Bădila hit a great ball. After 90 played minutes A.A. Cachila got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Eleder. In the 95th minute, George Huștiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of A.A. Cachila booed when FC Luck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Bulă didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over FC Luck could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than A.A. Cachila throughout the match.
