Spectators: 7455 (Terracing: 5592, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rick Wood started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Eriberto Mitxel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabrera FC and the FC Bredene players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Bredene booed when Cabrera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Mitxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Eleder in the 6th minute of play forced FC Bredene's goalkeeper Jacobus Van Landewijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Erubiel Eleder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bredene's Jacobus Van Landewijck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Cordeal in the 8th minute of play forced FC Bredene's goalkeeper Jacobus Van Landewijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Erubiel Eleder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobus Van Landewijck. FC Bredene's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erubiel Eleder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Aureliano Cordeal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobus Van Landewijck. Cabrera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rick Wood was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Jacobus Van Landewijck came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Cabrera FC's Erubiel Eleder. But to his dismay, Erubiel Eleder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Gogo Jon kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The Cabrera FC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Cabrera FC's Erubiel Eleder looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30thth minute of the game Erubiel Eleder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bredene's Jacobus Van Landewijck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Cabrera FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Salvador Urdin hit a great ball. Cabrera FC's Atilano Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaud Schouters in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Gonzalo Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobus Van Landewijck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, one of FC Bredene:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Bredene. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Cabrera FC. Aureliano Cordeal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jacobus Van Landewijck. 1-5. When Rick Wood came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC Bredene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rick Wood couldn't finish the play. Perry Ceusters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Eleder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's goalkeeper Jacobus Van Landewijck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erubiel Eleder. Gaudencio Gomesano's late challenge caught a FC Bredene's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaudencio Gomesano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Gaudencio Gomesano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilano Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Wood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perry Ceusters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Urbasa having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Cabrera FC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Urdin. Rick Wood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cabrera FC booed when FC Bredene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Tilens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th match minute, Cabrera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Urdin to maneuver through the defense. When Cabrera FC's Aureliano Cordeal in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bredene's goalie prevented a goal. Jacobus Van Landewijck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Eleder, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cabrera FC's zone, Perry Ceusters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Urbasa came out of the goal and Perry Ceusters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atilano Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Wood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Gaudencio Gomesano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabrera FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Gomesano in the 94th minute of play forced FC Bredene's goalkeeper Jacobus Van Landewijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobus Van Landewijck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Gomesano in the 96th minute of the match. The FC Bredene supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cabrera FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cabrera FC.
