Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mădălin Apostu having to interfere. Sidnei Silva took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mădălin Apostu. Mădălin Apostu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sidnei Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mădălin Apostu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Juventus PTM booed when Clube Atlético Luziense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mădălin Apostu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinei de Barros's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Flavius Gheorghiu hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Mădălin Apostu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavian Hortopan hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Artemio Tohias made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Andrea Gabor sent off a good shot on target. Erik de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Andrea Gabor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Artemio Tohias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felippe dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juventus PTM's Mădălin Apostu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei de Barros in the 45th minute of play. When Claudinei de Barros got free in front of the goal in the 45th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Mădălin Apostu was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Mădălin Apostu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Silva in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinei de Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Octavian Hortopan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Jorge Mangueira in the 52nd minute really tested Mădălin Apostu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mădălin Apostu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe dos Santos in the 57th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudinei de Barros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mădălin Apostu. That made the score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. With a little luck, Juventus PTM's Mădălin Apostu got control of the ball when Sidnei Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mădălin Apostu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei de Barros in the 72nd minute of play. Clube Atlético Luziense made a substitution. Albertinho Berger replaced Roberto Vinhas. Clube Atlético Luziense's Sigvard Glad was substituted for Felippe dos Santos. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Juventus PTM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clube Atlético Luziense:s goal. In the 85th minute, Clube Atlético Luziense's Sigvard Glad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mădălin Apostu. Mădălin Apostu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Silva in the 88th minute of play forced Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Mădălin Apostu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mădălin Apostu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinei de Barros in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mădălin Apostu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 95th minute, Flavius Gheorghiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clube Atlético Luziense's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
