Taha Turan made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Ernesto Dolfo sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nusret Ünalp during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Nusret Ünalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aşık Gezer in the 22nd minute of play forced ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Sérgio Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Dolfo to make the kick off. Ernesto Dolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taha Turan having to interfere. After 63 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Benino. In the 66th minute, Sedat Perkin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Goycochea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sedat Perkin got free with Sérgio Goycochea in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sérgio Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aşık Gezer in the 72nd minute of play. Sérgio Goycochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşık Gezer in the 76th minute of the match. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Sérgio Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sedat Perkin in the 79th minute of play.
