Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filiberto Sancho started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Julio Domeka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Depor Alex Return's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Domeka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Colmenares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 played minutes Depor Alex Return got a freekick which was hit by Julio Domeka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xiao Gaiztarro in the 15th minute of play forced Depor Alex Return's goalkeeper Benedicto Cibran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Sancho came free, but Iker Colmenares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Armando Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Olayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedicto Cibran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xiao Gaiztarro in the 37th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Teofilo Cordeara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Depor Alex Return and the Atlético Grau Piura players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Teofilo Cordeara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Domeka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Olando Liendo made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Cesar Molledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Grau Piura and the Depor Alex Return players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julio Domeka took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Colmenares. Iker Colmenares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 64th minute Julio Domeka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Colmenares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Grau Piura's Iker Colmenares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Sancho in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Filiberto Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Iker Colmenares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Baraquiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Iker Colmenares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Matteo Enriquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jony Maidana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Colmenares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Julio Domeka charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Domeka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Julio Domeka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Depor Alex Return booed when Atlético Grau Piura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignado Luzuriaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Armando Baraquiel notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Atlético Grau Piura's Iker Colmenares. Iker Colmenares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Depor Alex Return walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
