Torsten Ljungberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niko Ognenovski in the 16th minute of the match. Ariton Krstevski scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Ljungberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torsten Ljungberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontie Hristijanski in the 36th minute of play. When Albert Bergqvist fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sunkens Surtröjor's protests and gave Albert Bergqvist a yellow card for diving instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils-Erik Kielstedt made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Marko Nestoroski managed to get in a good position for a shot. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Nestoroski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Ljungberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Niko Ognenovski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Torsten Ljungberg. That made the score 0-3 after 63 minutes of play. After 65 played minutes ✩ Pep Team ✩ got a freekick which was hit by Smile Dimitrijevski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niko Ognenovski got free with Torsten Ljungberg in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute Leontie Hristijanski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Ljungberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sunkens Surtröjor booed when ✩ Pep Team ✩ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigor Gerasimov didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Sunkens Surtröjor's Torsten Ljungberg got control of the ball when Niko Ognenovski tried to sneak it across the goal line.
