Minaçu Esporte Clube's Gonçalo Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Dolcet in the 8th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Duda Moraes put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Minaçu Esporte Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Arnulfo Bixintxo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio de Andrade in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Ederono prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Cosme in the 13th minute of play forced Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Tomás Ederono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Minaçu Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Gonçalo Araújo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Dalmau. Lúcio de Andrade hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Benjamin Dalmau struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Gonçalo Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacheros de Buenos Aires. Tomás Ederono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio de Andrade in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio de Andrade came free, but Tomás Ederono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Valentin Nicholas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minaçu Esporte Clube the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Valentin Nicholas got a free kick in the 31st minute. José Augusto Trancoso hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Bixintxo got in the 42nd minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Gonçalo Araújo and thus it was 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lúcio de Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Lúcio de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minaçu Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lúcio de Andrades short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Tomás Ederono to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Arnulfo Dolcet got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 64 minutes Tacheros de Buenos Aires's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gil Falcão who took care of the corner kick. Minaçu Esporte Clube's Gil Falcão was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomás Ederono in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gonçalo Araújo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Anselmo Frasquito. But to his dismay, Anselmo Frasquito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Minaçu Esporte Clube's Gonçalo Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Ekialde in the 75th minute of play. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Tomás Ederono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Tacheros de Buenos Aires from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, Benjamin Dalmau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tacheros de Buenos Aires fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Tomás Ederono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio de Andrade in the 90th minute of play. Oséias Netto's late challenge caught a Tacheros de Buenos Aires's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oséias Netto helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Minaçu Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Netto. When the referee ended the match the Tacheros de Buenos Aires players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
