Rolf Pihlgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 27 minutes, Chicão Sergipano made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Brutal DeLuxe's Rolf Pihlgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolf Pihlgren came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Callegari's Alessandro Cearense. But to his dismay, Alessandro Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Brutal DeLuxe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Callegari were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Olle Jönsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 81st match minute, Callegari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Oswaldo Breckenfeld received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolf Pihlgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Oswaldo Breckenfeld slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute, Henrik Tham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinho Alagoano, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Callegari's Chicão Sergipano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolf Pihlgren. That made the score 1-5 after 90 minutes of play.
