The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luiz Fernando Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Marinho having to interfere. Enéas Marinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugênio Perez went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eugênio Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Marinho having to interfere. After 14th play minutes Eugênio Perez shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Enéas Marinho and just under the crossbar into goal. 21 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Eugênio Perez came free, but Enéas Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Furlan in the 25th minute of the match. Enéas Marinho came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Crisólia FBPA's Clóvis da Rocha. But to his dismay, Clóvis da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Válter Rossi got free with Glauco Marinho in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enéas Marinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fernando Furlan went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Enéas Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fernando Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Luiz Fernando Furlan made a precise shot to the right of Enéas Marinho. AKI CORINTHIANS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Carlos Eduardo Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Marinho having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Donatello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fernando Furlan in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enéas Marinho saved AKI CORINTHIANS from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clóvis da Rocha got free with Enéas Marinho in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enéas Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clóvis da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Enéas Marinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fernando Furlan. Enéas Marinho was a little too slow when Eugênio Perez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-7. AKI CORINTHIANS's Enéas Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis da Rocha in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Eugênio Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enéas Marinho. AKI CORINTHIANS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugênio Perez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Luiz Fernando Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Enéas Marinho made a huge save. Eugênio Perez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enéas Marinho having to make a save. After 78 minutes of play, Crisólia FBPA's Clóvis da Rocha made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enéas Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Eugênio Perez took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Enéas Marinho to make any attempt to save it. Eugênio Perez hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Osvaldo Vergílio fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crisólia FBPA's protests and gave Osvaldo Vergílio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Osvaldo Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Crisólia FBPA's zone, Emanuel Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glauco Marinho came out of the goal and Emanuel Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The AKI CORINTHIANS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Crisólia FBPA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
